The Blaze was started as a U11 team in the winter of 2006.  The team has dedicated time on and off the field to develop into elite soccer players, excellent students and charitable workers.  In the 2009 season the Blaze competed in the Northern Regional League and won 4, lost 1 and tied 2 games.  In addition, the Blaze were Connecticut State Cup semifinalists, losing in overtime 1-0 to the eventual champions.  Over Memorial Day weekend, the Blaze won the US Club Regional Qualifier to earn a trip to the US Club National Cup.  The Blaze currently rosters 9 ODP players and players  range from the shorelines, Fairfield County and New Haven county.
